Charles Justin is an architect and past president of the Jewish Museum of Australia .He is also the son of Jewish Polish holocaust survivors. This presentation examines the historical context of Jewish life in Poland and Germany. Charles explores how the Polin Museum, Warsaw and the Jewish Museum, Berlin deal with complex issues of national identity, memorialization and redemption through their architecture and the exhibitions on display. Repeat event due to popular demand.
