Artist Cameron Robbins will discuss his distinctive art practice and its relationship to light and nature. Robbins’ artistic practice interacts with the environmental elements and forces - wind, oceans, magnetic fields and light - in the creation of his works. Robbins speaks about the movements of the planets, moon and sun and using various works from over the years will illustrate how observing the heavens gives us our sense of perspective.

KTA has designed several museums and spaces for art practice and exhibition. Each has attempted to use architecture and landscape as the blueprint for forming place that not only invites congregation for the purpose of museum going or art appreciation but also extends the museum beyond the walls of its official domain, weaving it into the everyday experience and enjoyment of place. Kerstin will talk through completed projects MUMA and VCA as well as projects currently in development including the JHC and Riversdale Arthur Boyd Gallery for Bundanon Trust in NSW.
